Pier 16 is always a gem in Tybee. Haven't had a bad experience yet regardless of season, wait time, etc. food is too notch, and the environment feels beachy even though you aren't right on the water.

Came upon this place while driving around the island and decided to eat here. The service was great and the food was delicious! I got the Fried Green Tomato Sandwich and it was sooo good! I still think about it weeks later. I just wish the island didn't require you to pay to park at a restaurant like this.

Spent the morning hiking at fort Pulaski and came in hangry. I was immediately greeted by a hostess who was in a word bubbly. I was seated immediately inside at my request but there was a ton of outside seating and had I not been out all day it probably would have been nice. Interior was bright and well lit with a pleasant looking bar. I was waited on promptly and waitress ( nice kid. Redhead) was attentive. Menu was good and price was a pleasant surprise considering it was on the main drag of a beach town. I had the fried seafood platter. It had oysters, calamari, shrimp ( super fresh), scallops, fish fillets, fries, coleslaw and three sauces. ( tarter, cocktail, and I think chick fila). Quality was great as I expect when shrimp boats are parked two blocks away. Staff was outstanding and I needed a box because it was way more food than I expected or could eat. I was not only no longer hangry I left content.

Get off the beach and dine here! The food is fantastic! This place is like 3 different restaurants in one. Downstairs inside is more upscale, upstairs on the deck is casual with bar area. Also another outdoor bar with shade downstairs also with dining is somewhere in between the 2. We were in beach clothes so opted for upstairs. We dined on many different types of menu choices from seafood to land lubber. All 5 of us raved about our food. Service was great as well! We come to Tybee at least once a year. This will definitely be a place we dine again and again!

Fantastic food at Tybee Beach. Rooftop bar and seating was fun. SERVICE was SUPER FAST. They delivered burger and customized salad in less than ten minutes after ordering. Food was MASTERFULLY PREPARED and fresh. My Seared Tuna salad was scrumptious. It inspired me to eat seared tuna salad at home. The balsamic vinegar dressing made the meal. Tuna was perfectly seared ahead of time and served chilled. The lettuce was a quality mix and fresh. BLACKENED CHICKEN TACOS were yummy. Our friend ordered it, and they were huge. She couldn't eat all three so I sampled one. The chicken is perfectly spiced without being raging hot. The mayo-based yummy sauce made the dish. So good. I will come back on my visits to Tybee Beach.

My husband really enjoyed his steam boil! It was a lot of food and it was fairly priced at $37. The fried green tomatoes were my favorite! The sauce was a compliment to the fried green tomatoes. The grits were cheesy and delicious. The restaurant did have a roof top deck to eat on and it was pretty. Our server Savannah was very friendly and took care of us.
